About this book

Published by Al-Rawnaq Publishing and Distribution, The Guardian of Tal Al-Baqar by Ramy Seif El-Nasr unfolds in a village located in Beheira. A stormy winter night sets the background for a father who conducts occult rituals and targets his daughter as a sacrifice for buried riches. Meanwhile, an unemployed and isolated young man named Hany Wagih El-Remihi communicates online with a Moroccan acquaintance called Zahi. Hany discovers that this distant peer possesses intimate knowledge regarding local neighbors and neighborhood secrets. These overlapping occurrences draw the characters toward Radwa and an ancient burial site, triggering a violent struggle defined by human greed, supernatural forces, moral failure, and internal despair.
