Return and Other Stories

About this book

Mohamed Abdullah Talba assembles a narrative collection published by Egyptian Sudanese Emirati Publishing and Distribution under the title Return and Other Stories. The texts examine multiple dimensions of going back to places, people, and past decisions that no longer match their former states. Individuals encounter transformed environments and altered relationships during their attempts to reconnect with what was left behind. These pieces observe everyday situations with a focus on regret, recognition, and the gradual steps required to restart. Each narrative documents human resilience against shifting circumstances and the persistent gap between memory and reality.
