Shadows of the Passersby

About this book

Twelve people have connected fates in this collection, including an investigator and a newspaper seller carrying private grief beneath the news he delivers. Their stories bring mystery into the ordinary world of relationships, disappointment and small victories. The work considers what remains in memory after an encounter and how much of a life stays hidden from others, tracing the emotional marks people leave as their paths cross.
