Hero of the Journey

About this book

Mohamed Ammoush's screenplay follows Mostafa Ali from rural Egypt into the Algerian desert and across West Africa. His father's death, betrayal by those closest to him, and financial ruin test a principle inherited as the true family legacy: an honest path. Written with a strongly visual sense, the story defines heroism as preserving one's values when every material protection has disappeared.
