Rhodopis and Other Tales

About this book

Safaa Hussein Al-Ajmawi presents a collection rooted in ancient Egyptian heritage through Huruf Manthura Publishing and Distribution. The publication centres on the legendary figure Rhodopis, known to the Greeks as Rhodopis, detailing how her existence shifts dramatically following her merchant father's second marriage. Subsequent narratives draw upon historical lore and local antiquity, offering readers a glimpse into traditional accounts that predate the well-known European narrative of Cinderella and her stepfamily.
