Beware of Satan

About this book

Fatima Anflous considers everyday fear, discouragement, and uncertainty through an Islamic understanding of the struggle against Satan. She discusses the emotional vulnerabilities that, in her account, make spiritual vigilance necessary. Prayer, remembrance of God, giving, and an optimistic outlook form the book's proposed religious response. Fear of poverty and the meaning of generosity receive particular attention. The discussion remains grounded in the author's faith-based interpretation of these experiences and her emphasis on spiritual practice.
