Let Him Plant It

About this book

The prophetic teaching about planting a sapling even at the approach of the Final Hour provides the starting point for Let Him Plant It. The book asks what makes effort worthwhile when its outcome remains uncertain. Its reflections connect fear of beginning, delayed projects and the expectation of ideal conditions with questions of responsibility. Careful work and giving without demanding recognition become part of a religious discussion of time and purpose. Planting serves as an image for the contribution a person can make without controlling its eventual results.
