About this book
Night Boats by Egyptian author Mohamed El-Awn, published by Kinzy Publishing Agency, examines the irregular sea voyages undertaken by young individuals crossing the Mediterranean toward Europe. The narrative explores the harsh domestic circumstances inside their village and the economic pressures that compel them to depart. Past generations and local history prior to 1952 are examined alongside current struggles. The text incorporates psychological insight while recounting these Mediterranean crossings and community memories.
